Competition Clutch now offers a clutch and flywheel for the Genesis 3.8L. This clutch assembly includes a 2800lb, 250mm pressure plate that offers smooth engagement, nice pedal feel and near stock drivability with an organic disc. For those with more power the stage 3 and stage 4 options are available. The flywheel included in the kit weighs 23.5lbs compared to the OEM flywheel weighing 30.8lbs. The complete clutch and flywheel kit weighs 39lbs. The pilot bearing, alignment tool, and pressure plate bolts are also included in the kit. The throw out bearing is not included in this kit.

This assembly provides up to 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. 500 mile break-in highly recommended with this set-up. 300 mile break-in REQUIRED with this set-up. (Some kits may not be supplied with all pieces. Please verify with Competition Clutch before ordering).
The 2100 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Brass Plus facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.
Note: This kit includes steel flywheel.
I have the 2016 genesis coupe 3.8 rspec and I just purchased this clutch kit and I am in love with it. I would highly recommend it, there is no noise or rattling like people were saying do you don't have to worry about that. Very good clutch and choice if you get it! ERIC HICKS on 1st Dec 2017
Used this as a replacement for stock Clutch and Flywheel. Some noise at lower rpm’s but noticed better response when accelerating. Only gripe on the Clutch is how high you have to go before it grabs. I would rather it lower. Still breaking it in so I have only gone to 4000 rpms so far a few times Unknown on 16th Nov 2017
Took a day to get used to driving as the engagement point is much closer to the top than the stock clutch kit. However overall impressed and shifting is much nicer can feel it grab instantly. Calvin on 20th Jun 2017
